The purpose of the Sciences of Learning in Education (SoLE) research group is to bring together researchers in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work and at Flinders University who are interested in the better understanding of the complex processes involved in learning within an interdisciplinary perspective that includes socio-cultural, cognitive, and neuroscience perspectives. The group is committed to undertaking basic and applied research in learning for the improvement of education.

In addition to the above, the members of SoLE group meet regularly

  • to talk about their individual research projects in depth in order to receive helpful feedback

  • to identify common areas of research interests and foster new partnerships and collaborations

  • to be informed about new developments in the Sciences of Learning by identifying and reading key articles and by organising invited lectures, workshops and conferences.
