Rural and Remote Education Research Group
Vibrant and productive rural communities are integral to the long term sustainability of Australia. Central to progressing this vision is ensuring that individuals, families and communities can readily access high quality education and training. The National Framework for Rural and Remote Education (Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs) - which focuses on resourcing, organisational arrangements, curriculum, staffing, community engagement and ICT services - provide a broad scoping of the work and interests of the Flinders University Rural and Remote Education Research Group (FRRERG).
The Rural and Remote Research Education Group is commited to undertaking research that leads to enhanced knowledge and understanding which will improve participation and outcomes associated with rural and remote education and training.
The Rural and Remote Education Research Group has a strong preference for working in partnership with communities, professional groups and individuals to profile and work towards the resolution of issues.
