Research in Special Education

Members of the Research in Special Education (RISE) group are academics, post graduate students and professional educators with interests in a diverse range of areas associated with special and inclusive education. Members of the group have been actively researching in the areas of:

  • Inclusive education
  • Vision impairment
  • Social and emotional development
  • Teachers' learning
  • Standards for accomplished special education teachers
  • Peer Relations
  • Communication interventions and severe disabilities
  • Members of the group have a range of qualitative and quantitative research skills and have been actively involved in designing and conducting research projects with partner organisations.

RISE Breakfasts
