Research ethics should be one of the first considerations in the design of any research project. Flinders University has a number of policies and procedures to assist in ensuring that all research is conducted in an ethical manner.

This is the relevant committee for the majority of Humanities-based research needing ethics clearance
Research proposals involving or impacting upon Indigenous people also need to be submitted to the Social and Behavioural Research Ethics Committee
