Welcome to the 21st Australasian Humour Studies Network Conference 2015

4 - 6 February 2015

The 21st AHSN Conference will take place from 4 - 6 February 2015 at the State Library of South Australia, and will be hosted by Flinders Institute for Research in the Humanities (FIRtH).

The organising team comprises four staff from Flinders University:

  • Dr Christine Nicholls (Australian Studies)
  • Associate Professor Robert Phiddian (English)
  • Dr Colette Mrowa-Hopkins (French) 
  • Dr Antonella Strambi (Italian)

"Humour Studies” has been selected as the 2014 principal research theme for FIRtH. Their year of activities around this broad theme culminates in the 2015 AHSN Annual Conference.

Post-conference study day for Postgraduate Students

In conjunction with the conference, an interactive and free event for Australasian postgraduate students researching humour and laughter has been organised:
