Congratulations to Tomas Cannavo for winning a Nicola Baudin Travel Grant awared by the French Embassy in Canberra for $2,300. http://www.ambafrance-au.org/Nicolas-Baudin-Grants. Tomas will be studying a full academic year in Université François Rabelais in Tours. Flinders university has recently signed an International Agreement with this university. http://www.univ-tours.fr

David Provis and Jeannette Wallace: Unibooks French First Year Beginners’ Prize , awarded to the First Year student who has obtained the highest overall grade in percentage mark in French Beginners over Semester 1 and Semester 2 ($100)

Geordan Graetz and Sarah Hanna: Elizabeth Close Prize for Third Year Students of French, awarded to the student in his/her final year of French who has obtained the highest average percentage mark across semester 1 and semester 2 in any one academic year in the Upper Level French topics ($200).

No 2006 recipient for the McGraw-Hill Prize awarded to th best First Year Advanced Level student in French who has obtained the highest average percentage mark across  semester 1 and semester 2 in any one academic year ($200)
