A Major in Indonesian is available in a range of degrees, including the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Languages, Bachelor of International Studies, Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Education.
If your principal degree does not allow for the study of Indonesian, you may be interested in enrolling in a Bachelor of Letters, in conjunction with your other degree at Flinders.
Adelaide University students in a similar position can enrol in Adelaide University’s Diploma of Languages.
Indonesian topics can also be studied as electives in your degree.
NB: Indonesian language topics are not available to students who are native speakers of Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu.
Can I study Indonesian if I’m not a Flinders student?
Yes! Almost half our students enrol cross-institutionally from Adelaide University and UniSA. First year Indonesian classes are taught at the Adelaide University campus and upper level classes are taught at Flinders’ city campus at Victoria Square, making them easily accessible to city-based students.
