Studying Indonesian at Flinders is a dynamic experience. Our classes are small and interactive, and we offer students many   opportunities to put their language into action. Students at all levels are encouraged to connect with Indonesian native speakers on campus for structured conversation tasks, social events and exchanging help with Indonesian and English. Off-campus, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of ways in annual Indonesian cultural festivals such as IndoFest and Indopendence Day. There is a bilingual-intercultural holiday every two years (see Indonesian Bush Holiday ), and students can also spend a semester on placement in an Indonesian-speaking setting (see Work Integrated Learning ).
