The Indonesian at Flinders School Outreach Program offers a variety of language and cultural workshops for students from Reception to Year 12. The program is supported by enthusiastic volunteers from among the Indonesian post-graduate students who study at Flinders, who enjoy the opportunity to talk to Australian children about Indonesia and to help them practise their Indonesian. Since the program began in 2009, thousands of students have enjoyed language activities, learning to play gamelan, playing traditional Indonesian games, having a delicious Indonesian lunch and more. Activities are delivered in small groups (6-10 students per group) so that all students are active participants.
With prior notice, language activities can be tailored to suit material that students are currently studying in class. For costs, dates and other details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
