Researchers often seek advice about where they should best publish their research; this document has been developed to provide some general guidance for scholars in the EHL Faculty regarding this query. While researchers should feel free to place their research in an outlet they consider to be appropriate, this advice is provided to assist in choosing a publication venue in such a way that the researcher and the University might derive the greatest benefit in terms both of formal recognition and of reputation. Such advice is likely to evolve in response to changes in government policy and in publishing practices, and the document will be updated from time to time as appropriate (please refresh your browser to ensure that you are viewing the most recent edition).
Professor Margaret Davies (Associate Head, Research, EHL) has spoken about various publishing models during presentations to each of the Faculty's Schools. You may wish to look at the slides (PDF 1MB) from her presentation.
