The Department of Screen and Media offers a variety of different study pathways with different emphases and outcomes. Students can choose courses of study ranging from the historical and critical study of film and TV to the applied uses of screen media in maritime archaeology.
At the undergraduate level, Screen and Media can be studied as part of an Arts or Arts/Education degree, or students can choose to enrol in a dedicated Bachelor of Media Arts. The Bachelor of Creative Arts degree offers yet another set of options, offering students the chance to focus on production and industry-oriented programs, with specialisations in either Digital Media or Screen Production.
The Department also offers a varied postgraduate program, embracing both research degrees and coursework programs.
