The Department of Screen and Media offers a variety of different study pathways with different emphases and outcomes. Students can choose courses of study ranging from the historical and theoretical study of film and TV to the applied use of screen media in maritime archaeology. At undergraduate level, Screen and Media can be studied as part of an Arts or Arts/Education degree, or students can choose to enrol in a dedicated Bachelor of Media, with a focus on either Creative Arts or Public Affairs. The Bachelor of Creative Arts degree offers yet another set of options, offering the students the chance to focus on production and industry-oriented programs, with specialisations in either Digital Media or Screen.
