In the final year of the degree students undertake a Research Project. Their research focuses on current issues in tourism research with particular emphasis on action research and applied research.
Research undertaken by Tourism students enables students to develop a critical understanding of tourism research methodology, sources and practice.
Students are encouraged to develop independent research skills and demonstrate their ability to work and liaise with tourism industry partners.
At the end of the semester students present their research findings in different formats, including research reports, brochures, web sites etc and to prepare a conference poster.
