The School of Humanities is committed to an interdisciplinary program of undergraduate studies which aims to develop curiosity as well as knowledge. We encourage our students to think independently while providing opportunities to enhance personal and organisational skills relevant to today's - and tomorrow's - workplace.
The School houses seven Departments, each offering one or more major sequences in the Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as Masters and PhD programmes. The School of Humanities is one of the largest Schools in the University, with over sixty academic staff and twenty administrative. The School has approximately 3,000 students, including nearly two hundred Honours and Postgraduate students. Three-quarters of the School's undergraduate students are enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts degree, and Humanities also offer Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses .
