What does a casual academic staff member do?
Casual academic staff may be appointed to:
- Lecture in subjects;
- Give tutorial instruction, or
- Demonstrate in practical classes
They may also be required to:
- Assist in marking of assignments;
- Assist in the preparation of teaching material and organisation of classes
