Flinders University Events

The BIG day is almost here.  Below is a quick check list so you can ensure that the day you have been dreaming of will go smoothly.

Before:

• Check your availability to graduation and then apply online via the Graduation Website by 16 November 2012
  
• Check the date and time of your allocated ceremony via the Student Information System
• Collect your academic dress from the Education Building (map ref: 36 near car park 2) on either Sat 15 Dec (9am - 5pm) or Mon 17 Dec (9am-7pm).
• Collect your guest tickets with your academic dress.
• Don’t be late for your ceremony. Account for travel time and parking delays.
  

If you are unable to collect your Academic dress, you are able to get a friend or family member to collect this on your behalf. Just ensure you have supplied the Graduation Office with your measurements on your application and have made payment.

On the day:
Registration Desks will be open at the following times:
- 10am Ceremony: 8:30am-9:30am
- 3pm Ceremony: 1:30pm-2:30pm

All graduands are required to register in order to collect an allocated seat number. There will be a briefing for graduands on “how to cross the stage” 30 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony. All graduands are required to attend this.

Guests will be permitted entry into the Graduation Hall approximately 15 minutes after graduand entry.

After:
After the ceremony, check your gift bag for freebies.
Return your academic dress on any of the following dates:

• Wednesday 19 December: 12:00pm-7:00pm
• Thursday 20 December: 9:00am-7:00pm
• Friday 21 December: 9:00am-12:00pm
