Public Forum: 'Does Social Democracy have a future?'

Chaired by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Andrew Parkin, this public forum will discuss the future and state of centre-left politics. This is a free event and linked to the two-day conference held on social democracy.

Four prominent panelists will lead the discussion:

  • Prof Jan Pronk, former Dutch labour minister
  • Prof John Quiggin, leading academic on social democracy
  • Jenny McAllister, ALP National President
  • Miriam Lyons, Executive Director, Centre for Policy Development, (TBC)
