Undergraduate entry applications
The term undergraduate refers to your first degree or diploma.
Entry requirements
You can qualify for undergraduate courses through:
- year 12 qualifications (South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)), International Baccalaureate, and interstate equivalents
- adult entry (STAT)
- TAFE/VET qualifications
- higher education transfers
In addition there are bonus points, guaranteed entry and special entry schemes to accompany these.
Admission to all courses is limited by quota and is normally based on academic merit as determined by assessment of an applicant's qualifications.
Where students have completed SACE, the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR (previously known as Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) is normally used.
In some courses other criteria, such as an interview, audition or portfolio submission also apply. For information on such course requirements, see course information in the SATAC Guide and our courses and programs site.
