Science and maths bonus points
Science and mathematics bonus points are allocated to students studying selected science and mathematics subjects in Year 12 who apply for entry to a science and engineering degree at Flinders.

Subject applicability
Applicants who have undertaken relevant subjects in their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), International Baccalaureate or interstate equivalent are eligible.
The relevant SACE Stage 2 subjects are:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Mathematical Studies
- Physics
- Specialist Mathematics.
How the points are applied
Applicants have 2 bonus points per eligible subject automatically added to their University Aggregate by the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). To be eligible, applicants must have achieved a passing score in the relevant subject.
What are the maximum bonus points that can be applied?
The maximum number of bonus points, inclusive of all Flinders access/bonus point schemes, available to applicants is 10.
