Tours are highly recommended so you don't feel lost in your first weeks. Generally it's a good idea to know where your lectures, tutorials etc. will be held prior to starting your studies.

Tours will be available during the Orientation week Monday 25 February - Friday 1 March and the first three days of Semester 1, Monday 4 - Wednesday 6 March.

Make sure you come on a tour, ask questions and meet some of your fellow classmates!

Central Campus Tours

Central Campus Tours are a must-do.  A 30-45 minute guided tour will help you get a feel for the campus and locate all the important facilities and support services. Student tour guides will explain how to get the most out of your time at Flinders and answer any questions you may have.

All Central Campus Tours depart from the Yellow Tent on the Plaza [Map ref. 26].

Monday 25 February

 Every 30 minutes between 9:30am and 2:00pm

Tuesday 26 February to Friday 1 March and Monday 4 to Wednesday 6 March

Every 30 minutes between 10:00am and 2:00pm

 

Faculty Specific Tours

Faculty Specific Tours will show you where lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, labs etc are located in your school and faculty area.  Student guides will point out pathway to each building, the closest toilets and food & beverage facilities.

Sturt campus tours

Tours of the Sturt Campus will be available upon request

between 10am and 2pm

Tours will depart from the yellow tent on the Plaza, Main Campus.  Our helpful tour guides will take you down to Sturt Campus and show you everything you need to know.

  

Central Library tours

Tours of the Central Library and computing tours are offered during Orientation week and during the first week of semester.

Take a 10-minute Library Search Smart Tour, a 5-minute Library Search Smart Introduction to Flinders Learing Online (FLO), library computers, printing and setting up your laptop or mobile device.

 

Art Museum Tours - one day only!

Come on a 15-minute art museum tour where you will be introduced to the University's art collection and discover how you can use the museum as a resource for your studies.  No need to book.
