Congratulations and welcome to Flinders University

Start Smart is a comprehensive transition and orientation program, designed to help you to settle in, find your way around and enjoy the academic and social sides of university life.

Start Smart offers a range of orientation activities, with plenty of room to have fun. Start Smart is designed for you, wherever you come from and whatever you have chosen to study.

What is happening during Orientation?

Student support sessions:
Including the Success @ Flinders program for all 1st year commencing students and students new to Flinders, in addition to sessions for international and AusAID students.

Welcome Tent:
To assist with your 2012 Orientation to Flinders Uni Support Services staff and students will be in the Welcome Tent on the Plaza, to help with directions or any questions you may have. You wont miss us, we'll be in the red t-shirts!

Campus tours:
These tours will be available Monday 20 - Tuesday 29 February (weekdays).

Degree and course specific information sessions:
These information sessions will provide you with all the essential information you need to know to prepare you for your course.

The EXCELerate academic orientation program 2012:
Flinders offers a range of programs for you to attend during orientation to help you acquire study and other skills necessary for the transition to university.

Orientation social activities:
These activities will help you to learn about campus life, facilities and meet new people. The week is packed with info sessions, tutorials, tours and entertainment for new students.
