The Board will receive and consider the following:
  • New Course proposals
  • Significant changes to a course
  • Course reviews
  • Reports from Course Review Committees
  • Responses to Reports from Review Committees
  • New, revised and discontinued prizes, awards and scholarships
  • Change of Course Co-ordinators
  • Annual statements of course enrolment numbers
  • Statements and documents referred at a School, Faculty or University level.
  

Inputs

  • All School of Medicine Course Committees will report into the Board of Education.
  • The minutes of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee will be received by the Board of Education.

Outputs

  • The Board will report monthly and as required to the School of Medicine Executive Committee.
  • The Board will report on its activities monthly to the Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee.

A small Executive of the Board will meet as required to consider minor course changes, new and revised topics and other matters.

Papers to be considered by the Board of Education must be received by the Executive Officer 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
