Welcome

Flinders University provides on-campus health, counselling and disability services.

This site provides information about how to access our services, self-help information and links to other useful sites.

We provide confidential, professional services that are available to all students, including people with a disability and those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or transsexual. We are inclusive of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Our staff also makes a significant contribution to the University's orientation and transition programs. For advice and information see the Start Smart pages for new students (which includes special information for rural and interstate students) and the Get Connected site for first year students.

Gardasil Vaccine

The Gardasil vaccine (designed to prevent cancer of the cervix and abnormal Pap smears) will continue to be available from the Health Service in 2008.

Call the Health Service on 8201 2118 to make an appointment with a doctor or to check your eligibility.

Your questions answered - about sexual health

As part of the activities for the Sexual Health Awareness Gala (SHAG) to be held on campus August 20th 2008, Health and Counselling is providing you with the opportunity to anonymously ask and have answered all those burning (and perhaps itching) questions about sexual health.

Visit your questions answered - about sexual heath for further information.
