The Faculty of Health Sciences brings together researchers
from the biomedical and clinical sciences, and draws upon synergies
created by the collocation of Flinders University, the Flinders
Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital.
The Faculty has an outstanding profile of research achievements
in medical sciences relative to those of other Australian universities
and a track record in clinical research and applied (translational
research). This is due in great measure to the emphasis on
research and the links between research, teaching and clinical practice
provided by the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Research Programmes
Opportunities exist for undertaking a research higher degree (Masters,
Ph.D. or M.D.) in one of the many major
research programmes going on with in the Faculty. Both the School of Medicine and the School of Nursing and Midwifery have Research Key Resources within the Faculty

Postgraduate Research Student Scholarships
Scholarships available include: Australian Postgraduate Awards,
Australian Postgraduate Awards (Industry), Flinders University Research
Scholarships, International Postgraduate
Research Awards, and a number of scholarships
funded from specific sources.
