
Flinders Housing is the Flinders University organisational unit which manages University Hall with 240 beds, the Deirdre Jordan Village with 310 beds (made up of 42 two- and three-bedroom units and 40 five-bedroom units) and an Accommodation Service for International Students. The accommodation service assists newly arrived international students to find private housing and maintains a Web listing of available private accommodation in the local area. Overall, Flinders Housing manages a total of 550 student beds.

Helen Fletcher, the Dean of Flinders Housing, reports to the Director of Academic and Student Services. Flinders Housing also has a Board to discuss issues of policy and development. The Board also oversees the good financial management of Flinders Housing. All Flinders Housing on-campus accommodation is owned by the University.
The Flinders Housing Board is the body empowered by the University Council to make policy decisions relating to the goals and functions of University Hall, the Deirdre Jordan Village and off-campus housing operations.
The Board is chaired by Professor Faith Trent, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Education, Humanities, Law & Theology.
The President of the House Committee, the Senior Residential Tutor (Hall) and a Residential Coordinator (Village) are the residents' representatives on the Board.
The Board meets at least four times per year.
