Flinders University is the only South Australian University with on-campus accommodation in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

There is no better way to be a part of University life and to enhance your University experience than to live in an exciting and thriving learning community on the University grounds.

You are welcomed into an environment where you will make lasting friendships with people from around the world and participate in a wide range of social and educational activities.

Living on campus gives you easy access to all University health, counselling, sporting, library, academic and social facilities.

Options

Flinders offers 2 on-campus living options:

  • University Hall: a catered hall of residence.
  • Deirdre Jordan Village: self-catered collegiate accommodation.

Population

Flinders Housing accommodates 560 students living on the University campus:

  • 50% of the residents come from Australian rural and metropolitan areas
  • 50% coming from up to 30 different countries.

Management

Flinders Housing is managed by the Dean, Flinders Housing with 2 Associate Deans managing the collegiate life of the Hall and the Village.

All 3 senior staff live on the campus along with 22 live-in residential staff.
