Public Transport

Adelaide Metro looks after the public transport including bus, train and trams  for Adelaide city and the surrounding suburbs. The Adelaide metro website had detailed information about the full range of public transport services available including the Terrace to Terrace free city tram, The Adelaide FREE bus service, jetBus services to the Airport and the After Midnight late night bus.

To travel on the Adelaide metro system all you need is a Metroticket, although if you are planning to travel on a student concession fare you must have a valid full-time student ID with you. Metrotickets can be purchased from most newsagencies, delis and post offices. You can also purchase single trip and day trip tickets from the bus driver or conductor or from a coin operated ticket machine (train services).
