University Consultative Committee (UCC)
The University Consultative Committee (UCC) was established as part of the staff consultation framework incorporated into the Collective Workplace Agreement 2006 – 2008 (CWA), which came into effect in late August 2006.
The UCC comprises elected staff representatives plus nominees of both management and unions. It is a forum for formal consultation on matters including implementation of the CWA and significant workplace change as defined in the CWA. The Deputy Chair, an elected member of staff, is responsible, in consultation with the members of the UCC who have not been nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, for nominating staff to participate as members of any Appeal, Review or Grievance committee established under the provisions of the CWA.
The UCC meets four times per year unless otherwise agreed.
