Program Title: ERASMUS + Semester Exchange

Program Location: Malmo University, Sweden

Program Overview:

The project seeks to enhance the future mobility of graduates and to encourage transcultural understanding on the cusp of entering the labour market. The project will provide students with a semester-length academic exchange, pre- and post-exchange events with focus on career, a mid-term ‘employability’ seminar centred on skill transferal, a social programme, and an intensive Swedish language course.

Program Dates: Semester 1, 2018 (29 August 2017-14 January 2018)

Open To: 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students in the School of History and International Relations

Application Deadline: 31 July 2017 (study plan due on 15 June 2017)

Eligibility: Students must meet the standard eligibility criteria for student exchange.

Credit: Students may be eligible to receive credit towards their Flinders degree following completion a total of 30 ECTS (equivalent to 18 units at Flinders)

Costs: Malmo University provides information on the cost of living in Sweden here.

Successful applicants will be awarded an ERASMUS+ scholarship which includes a travel grant of EUR 1100 and EUR 850 per month.

The scholarship will be paid following confirmation of acceptance from Malmo University.

Students may also apply for an OS-HELP loan up to AUD$6,470 to cover any additional expenses.
