Program Title: ERASMUS + Semester Exchange

Program Location: Universitat Rovira I Virgili (URV), Spain

Program Overview:

The project seeks to enhance the future mobility of graduates and to encourage transcultural understanding between Australians and Europeans. Through this project, students will learn the skills that will enable them to think and act as international change agents in their professional and personal dealings and to locate and consciously position themselves within a global community.

Program Dates: Semester 2, 2017 (4 September 2017 – 2 February 2018)

Open To: 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students in the School Humanities and Creative Arts

Application Deadline: Wednesday 30 November 2016

Eligibility: Students must meet the standard eligibility criteria for student exchange.

Credit: Students may be eligible to receive credit towards their Flinders degree following completion of a total of 30 ECTS (equivalent to 18 units at Flinders).

URV provides a list of available topics in both Spanish and English on their website.

Costs: URV provides information on the cost of living in Spain on their website.

Successful applicants will be awarded an ERASMUS+ scholarship which includes a travel grant of EUR 1100 and EUR 800 per month.

The scholarship will be paid following confirmation of acceptance from URV.

Students may also apply for an OS-HELP loan up to AUD$6,470 to cover any additional expenses.
