Postgraduate entry requirements

 

You must meet the following requirements to enrol at Flinders University as a postgraduate student.

Academic

You must have successfully completed one of the following:

For entry into Bachelor degrees, Graduate Certificates and Graduate Diplomas

The equivalent of a three-year Australian bachelors degree.


Special requirements apply to the four-year Graduate Entry Medical Program.


For entry into Masters degrees

The equivalent of an Australian bachelors degree with second class honours or better (four years of study) undertaken in the field
of study you intend to pursue in your proposed masters program.  Lesser qualifications are unlikely to be accepted without some
qualifying studies or relevant work experience related to the proposed area of study.


For entry into Doctor of Medicine

A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from an Australian university or its equivalent qualification.

For entry into Doctor of Philosophy

A masters degree from an Australian university or its equivalent. In some cases, proof of excellent academic performance
in a four-year honours degree may be sufficient. The masters or honours degree must have been undertaken in the field of study
you wish to pursue.
