Prerequisite subject requirements


To receive an offer  for the following courses you also must fulfil these prerequisite subject requirements:

  • Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours): Some assumed knowledge of year 12 Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Technology (Forensic and Analytical Chemistry): year 12 Chemistry (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology: Knowledge of year 11 Mathematics and / or Physics is desirable (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry: year 12 Chemistry (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nanotechnology (Honours): year 12 Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Science (Honours): An Enhanced Program for High Achievers: at least 3 of year 12 Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics or Geology (or equivalent)

 

Some courses may have additional entry requirements, such as prerequisite knowledge in a particular subject area.

Credit for previous university studies is granted at the discretion of the Faculty that administers a chosen course. Applicants seeking credit or exemption should provide detailed subject outlines of studies completed.

Applicants who do not meet necessary academic requirements may enrol in a Foundation Studies Program . This has been designed to prepare international students for studies at any of South Australia's three universities, and is delivered by Eynesbury College in Adelaide. It includes provisional enrolment in a chosen degree course.
