If your application to study at Flinders University has been successful, you will be sent an Offer Letter offering you a place on a course at Flinders.
The Offer Letter is a result of your successful application for admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Flinders University.
If you applied to an undergraduate degree, you will have received an offer to the highest preference for which you were qualified.
If you applied for admission to a postgraduate course (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters, or PhD), you may receive more than one Offer Letter.
With your Offer Letter you will receive the Your Offer Letter Explained booklet , which outlines everything you need to know about your Offer Letter and how to respond.
If you have supplied an email address, this information will be sent to you by email.
Before you can accept your offer, you must provide evidence of your pre-visa assessment (PVA).
A PVA is a preliminary assessment of a student visa application. It is conducted by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
PVAs are not applicable to all students. Consult the DIAC website to find out if you require a PVA.

Alternatively, you can apply for an eVISA through a registered agent of the university.A complete list of agents in your country is available from the In your Country section of this website.
Your initial payment is due when you accept your offer and is an advance of the first semester's tuition fees.
The first semester fee is based on the annual course fee for your commencing year and remains fixed for the normal duration of your course at the university.
After your initial payment, remaining instalments are calculated on the basis of your workload and topic selection in each semester. Tuition fees are payable each semester in advance.

International students are required by the Australian Government to take out Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa. Payment of this is included in the offer for admission. Additional information is available in the Health Cover section of our website.
To accept the offer, follow the steps outlined in the Your Offer Letter Explained booklet .
Once you have made payment and submitted your acceptance with any additional information required, the International Office will issue you with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) document.
Following receipt of this document you may apply for your student visa.
With the exception of the Bachelor of Creative Arts, the Bachelor of Midwifery and the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, applicants who have been offered a place in an undergraduate degree or diploma course may be permitted to defer their entry for 1 year, subject to any approval by the faculty.

The pre-departure guide contains everything you need to know about making preparations for life in Australia, and study at Flinders.
On receipt of payment of your tuition fees, you will receive a copy of the pre-departure guide.
Once you have confirmed your flight you should advise the International Student Services Unit of your arrival details by completing the arrival booking form. They will arrange to meet you at the Adelaide Airport to take you to your accommodation.
