Pathway programs to university

Flinders University has agreements with a number of tertiary institutions which provided pathway programs for direct entry into university. Some of these programs can also offer credit towards Flinders undergraduate degrees.

Eynesbury College

Eynesbury College offers:

Foundation Studies Program
Degree Transfer Program
Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology (EIBT) Program.

Utahloy English Language Centre, China

Utahloy English Language Centre offers a University Foundation Program.

Preparatory programs

Academic

A special Foundation Studies Program has been designed to prepare international students for studies at any of South Australia's three universities.

It is delivered by Eynesbury College in Adelaide. Successful completion of the program includes provisional enrolment in a chosen degree course.

The Degree Transfer Program (DTP) is run through Eynesbury College. The DTP has two stages:

Stage 1 - an Express Foundation delivered at Eynesbury, starting in October
Stage 2 - Semester 1, Year 1 of respective undergraduate programs delivered on campus at Flinders and starting in February.

Once you have successfully completed the DTP you will be given entry into Semester 2 of Year 1 at Flinders starting in July.

English language

Applicants who do not meet the university's English language entry requirements and need to improve their English language proficiency can do so through the university's approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers.

This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test.

Flinders University's approved ELICOS providers are:

Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) (conveniently located on campus at Flinders)
Australian Centre of Language
Eynesbury College
South Australian College of English (SACE).
