What is the Software Center?
Software Center is an application managed by ITS for staff to install new software or upgrade existing software for Windows computers at their discretion. You do not need to have administrative rights to be able to install software through Software Center.
This program is not available on Mac computers. If you are using a Mac, please contact the ITS Service Desk on 82012345
Using Software Centre
1. Open Software Center by clicking the Start Button ---> All Programs ---> Microsoft System Center 2012 ---> Configuration Manager ---> Software Center.
2. When Software Center opens, you will have a list of "Available Software". Check the software applications that you wish to install and click “Install Selected”.
3. Software Center will switch from the Available Software tab to the Installation Status tab. Your selected applications will download and proceed to install.
