EndNote Connection and Filter files for the Flinders Library Voyager Information System
EndNote version 3 or later
- Endnote Connection Files
- Endnote Filter File
- Saving Reference Lists from Voyager and Importing to EndNote
|
| Although EndNote can be used to search remote databases (including the Library catalogue), the search capabilities are not equivalent to those of the native database search functions. For precise searching, conduct searches in the database, save your results, and then import them into your EndNote library. |
EndNote Connection Files
The Connect command in EndNote lets you connect directly to online databases, search for the references that you need, and retrieve those references without ever leaving EndNote.
EndNote connection files for the Flinders University Library catalogue are available from the links below.
You must place the connection file in the correct folder where your copy of EndNote has been installed. Typically this will be C:\Program Files\EndNote\Connect\. If you do not place the connection file in the correct folder you will not be able to access it from the Connection Manager when using EndNote
Windows users should press [shift] while clicking the link to save it to disk.

EndNote Filter File
An EndNote filter for the Flinders University Library catalogue is available from the link below.
Note: Endnote filters available for Voyager do not work correctly in all circumstances.
The Flinders Library EndNote filter allows you to import references from The Flinders Voyager Information System into your EndNote library.
The filter maps the information in each downloaded reference to the corresponding fields in EndNote.
You must place the filter file in the correct folder where your copy of EndNote has been installed.
Typically this will be C:\Program Files\EndNote\Filters\. If you do not place the filter in the correct folder you will not be able to access it from the Import Manager when using EndNote
Windows users should press [shift] while clicking the link to save it to disk.
