The Simpson Collection contains the personal book collections of  Mr A. Moxon Simpson and his wife, Elizabeth Robson Cleland. Included are both children’s and literary classics, poetry and historical texts; as well as some beautifully illustrated volumes.  Many, but not all, of the items in the collection have been catalogued and can be found by searching within the Simpson Collection in FindIt@Flinders:

The collection also contains the papers of Mr A. Moxon Simpson (1910-2001), a prominent Adelaide industrialist and chairman of Simpson Pope, the whitegoods manufacturer.  The correspondence, reports and publications within the collection relate to the various committees and inquiries on which he served. These papers can also be found by searching in FindIt@Flinders via the search box above.
