Linking to Readings and eReadings from within FLO

FindIt@Flinders contains the Readings and eReadings system. It is possible to link to eReadings and Readings lists from within FLO that will allow students access.

Designers should follow the following procedure to create an embedded link to a particular article.

Linking to an item on a reading list

Search for your topic code
Select the search scope, 'Books, journals, DVDs & more'. This is the best way to link to your eReadings with stable URLs, for on and off campus access.
Click the title of the desired reading from your topic search results to view details
Right click on the "Permanent link" (as below)
Select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location"
Paste the link in your desired location. To insert a link in a FLO topic page, instructions are available here.
