Flinders University is the only South Australian University with on-campus accommodation in the Adelaide metropolitan area. The University is situated approximately 20 minutes by bus from the city or the best of the Adelaide metropolitan beaches, so living on campus at Flinders offers a unique student lifestyle.
There are a wide variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs, whether you’re staying for the duration of your study or just a short visit. Our accommodation includes self-contained units in Deirdre Jordan Village and our fully catered, collegiate University Hall. All on-campus accommodation is located within a five minute walk from the main campus or the Sturt buildings as seen on the campus map (PDF).
Flinders Living accommodates a maximum of 561 students and the residential population comprises:
- 50% from Australian rural and metropolitan areas
- 50% from international students from up to 30 nationalities.
There is no better way to be a part of University life and enhance your University experience than to live on-campus in an exciting and engaging community environment. As well as offering academic benefits, Flinders Living provides opportunities for residents to participate in extra-curricular events including academic, cultural, social and sporting programs.
