All of the advertising campaigns you see around Adelaide, all of the radio ads you hear, and the print ads that catch your eye come out of the Office of Communication and Engagement (OCE).  Online channels such as news services and the Flinders website also contain our campaign advertisements.

Flinders campaigns are planned, produced and executed with the aim of
increasing awareness of Flinders University and appealing to prospective students. 

Campaigns are run with an overall theme, providing a continual public presence for Flinders, and focus on specific events in the annual calendar. 

Campaign activities are focused around:

  • Semester 2 student recruitment (April-May)
  • Open Day (June-August)
  • Course Information Sessions (September)
  • Semester 1 student recruitment (September-February)
Media channels utilised include radio, print, online, outdoor and special features.

The theme of campaign imagery always ties in with the Flinders brand essence 'bold and inspiring'.  

While the campaigns are put together and managed by OCE some of the work, including design work, is done collaboratively with outside agencies.
