Helen Thompson, Head, Marketing

Helen contributes to the building and maintenance of a positive brand position for the University by engaging in strategic planning and delivery of key marketing campaigns, events, University publications, printed collateral and branded merchandise products.

She also provides advice to stakeholders to ensure branding consistency across the University and liaises with key Admissions and Faculty Staff.

Helen draws on extensive experience in Australia and overseas gained in both the public and corporate sectors in senior management roles including marketing, public relations, stakeholder relationship management to provide leadership to the Marketing Team.


Nele Larno, Marketing Coordinator  

Nele contributes to campaigns and local/national student recruitment strategies.

She also provides assistance and support with ad hoc advertising requests, including press ads, posters and flyers.

Nele's the one to talk to about all things relating to Flinders branded merchandise including promotional giveaways, corporate gifts and staff related branded clothing.

Katherine Reaiche, Events Coordinator

Katherine's key responsibility is for the planning, coordination & management of key university events. This includes event design, logistics, defining the target audiences; identifying suppliers, finalising schedules, budgeting, recognising audio-visual requirements and ensuring OH&S standards are met. 

Katherine handles event promotion and marketing through various creative methods such as advertising, merchandise and other printed and electronic materials.
 
Katherine also provides advice and support to Divisions, Schools and Faculties on appropriate protocols and procedures for events and functions to ensure the University's corporate image is maintained.

 

Cristian Stromblad, Copywriter & Project Coordinator 

Cristian's main role is managing the production of Flinders University's student recruitment publications including course guides, pocket guides and brochures.

His responsibilities include writing and editing content, liaising with various areas of the university, and communicating with graphic designers and printers.

Cristian also writes copy for advertisements produced by the Marketing and Communications Office.
