Strategic Marketing

Role: Position Flinders in a globally significant context, differentiating the institution among competitors, and engaging local and international audiences, while building a university-wide community of practice among marketing and communication professionals.

  • Provide marketing leadership and services aligned with strategic priorities including student recruitment, research and community engagement.
  • Deliver a suite of marketing servicesfrom reporting, copywriting and graphicdesign to brand, reputation and campaign management.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Presence Unit to deliver Flinders’ Digital Strategy.
  • Manage relationships with the University’s Lead Creative Agency and deliver projects through a network of creative suppliers.

Contributes to the University’s domestic student recruitment campaigns and marketing strategies.

They also provide assistance and support with ad hoc marketing requests from Divisions, Schools, Faculties and other University stakeholders.

Talk to them about all things relating to print, radio, outdoor and online advertising, posters, flyers and banners to ensure branding consistency across University’s marketing collateral.

 

Belinda Fordham, Marketing Coordinator  

Belinda contributes to the University’s domestic student recruitment campaigns and marketing strategies.

She also provides assistance and support with ad hoc marketing requests from Divisions, Schools, Faculties and other University stakeholders.

Belinda's the one to talk to about all things relating to print, radio, outdoor and online advertising, posters, flyers and banners to ensure branding consistency across University’s marketing collateral.

 

Natalie Carter, Graphic Designer/Desktop Publisher 

Natalie’s main focus is to design and assist with the student recruitment publications including the course guide, course brochures and pocket guide. Natalie also designs collateral for various University clients and those affiliated with Flinders University.

Natalie’s design and layout skills extend to a variety of marketing material including; press advertising, merchandise, display materials, invitations, signage and templates.

 

Imogen O'Reilly, Graphic Design Support

 

Cristian Stromblad, Copywriter & Publications Coordinator 

Cristian's main role is managing the production of Flinders University's student recruitment publications including course guides, pocket guides and brochures.

His responsibilities include writing and editing content, liaising with various areas of the university, and communicating with graphic designers and printers.

Cristian also writes copy for advertisements produced by the Marketing and Communications Office.
