Research projects in the Poche Centre of Indigenous Health and Well-being fall into two main areas:

·         Workforce Development, Cultural Safety and Person-Centred Care

·         Mental Health and Social, Spiritual and Emotional wellbeing.

Research conducted by staff in the Centre or students supervised by staff in the Centre includes a wide range of topics and Indigenous and non-Indigenous populations including: chronic illness, healthcare education, sovereignty and health, workforce development, primary health care, and the social determinants of Indigenous health
