Flinders Rural and Remote Health is currently the largest rural and remote health group in Australia. It is recognised internationally for health services and workforce development – in particular for:
- award winning community-based medical education;
- interdisciplinary postgraduate training for remote practice;
- partnerships with Aboriginal Medical Services;
- rural and remote health services research and development; and
- designing best practice approaches to chronic disease management in a rural and remote context.
