Flinders University Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Awarded to enable suitably qualified students to commence a full-time research higher degree in 2009. Applications are invited for the following scholarships. Applications close 31 October 2008.

For overseas research by Masters degree by research or PhD students. This second round of applications is for awards tenable during the twelve months commencing November 2008. Applications close 30 September 2008.
For overseas research by PhD students. Application closing date has been extended to 30 September 2008.
Available to students enrolled in the Master of Clinical Nursing or Master of Nursing. Applications close 5 September 2008.
Available to students enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Health (Continence Nurse Advisor). Applications close 5 September 2008
Available to new first year students who commenced study in Semester 2 2008. Applications close 5 September 2008.
For students in the second year of the Bachelor of Theology. Applications close 5 September 2008
For undergraduate students in their third to fifth year undertaking a program of study in the field of electrical and electronics engineering at Flinders University. Applications close 30 September 2008
All research higher degree students who been enrolled for at least three calendar months during the review period 1 August 2007 to 31 July 2008, including those who commenced their candidature and those who had a period of intermission during the review period, are required to submit an Annual Review of Progress report to the Higher Degree Administration and Scholarships Office by 30 September 2008. Information on scholarships and other forms of financial assistance can be obtained from the Higher Degree Administration and Scholarships Office located in the Registry Annexe (opposite the Student Centre). The office maintains a database of scholarship schemes.
Information on scholarships offered for postgraduate study by a broad range of institutions and organisations can also be found at the JASON website or at the DEEWR website.
Information on other scholarship schemes available for undergraduate and postgraduate study within Australia (including NH&MRC, CSIRO, government agencies and private foundations) and overseas (mainly Commonwealth countries schemes such as the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan, Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and Rhodes Scholarships; and the more prestigious of the USA schemes such as Harkness Fellowships, Harvard University, Fulbright and Menzies Scholarships) is available from the Higher Degree Administration and Scholarships Office.
