Annual General Meeting

The CNS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in November-December each year and is chaired by the Convenor at the time. It is a platform for the Convenor and Executive Committee to:
> Welcome new members.
> Report on the activities of the Centre for the year.
> Report on the financial situation of the Centre at the time of the AGM.
> Discuss future activities and funding opportunities.
> Congratulate members on grant awards and honours received during the year.
> Award the Centre’s annual staff and student prizes.

> Hold any necessary elections for Committee Members and Student Representatives.


The CNS AGM is only open to registered Members of the CNS.
All Full, Student, Associate and Life Members are welcome to attend.
*Decisions on the Centre's future direction is discussed at the meeting, so only official stakeholders are invited.

No, RSVP's are not required. If you are a Member, you can simply show up.

No, the meeting is open to all Members but attendance is not compulsory.

Yes, a full Agenda, including minutes of the last AGM, are forwarded to members prior to the meeting. A call for agenda items from members is made 2 weeks prior, via the NeuroNews.
