The School of Nursing & Midwifery has numerous academic staff members who are able to supervise research higher degree students. Two supervisors are a mandatory requirement before a successful application for enrolment into a PhD program can occur.

Potential supervisors of your research project hold international reputations in established fields of research. You can find out more about the research interests of these academics by visiting their individual staff profile pages. Consider whether you would be interested in pursuing a research project within the supervisors’ fields of research or as a part of an established project/program of research. If you have a specific research field you wish to pursue, nominate an academic whose experience will suit the field. Please email the Associate Dean (Higher Degree Program) at who will assist you to liaise with academics to ascertain their interest in your project and potential availability for research supervision. Once supervisors have been established you will then be able to discuss your planned project with them.
