A warm welcome to all friends of Oasis!
Firstly I would like to acknowledge and thank all those people who attended the launch of Oasis-faith, spirit, community on 9 April 2008. It was an inspiring night, marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere, with many people particularly enjoying the multi faith blessing and festivities whilst sharing a lovely meal.
Following the launch many people have commented on how much they enjoyed the occasion.
Thank you also to all those people who so generously donated towards Oasis. We will be acknowledging your contribution as soon as possible.

Since the launch, Oasis has continued to grow, allowing the venue to be utilised in various ways. The formation of the Indian Association, Flinders University Choral Society rehearsals, Multifaith Association of SA meetings and a Buddhist memorial service are good examples, demonstrating the versatility and potential of Oasis to assist students on campus.
Due to the success of the launch we have decided to hold another Friends of Oasis dinner towards the middle of August. The precise date and time will be advised in due course.
