OHS Committee

The University Occupational Health and Safety Committee has a monitoring role with regard to rehabilitation.

The Rehabilitation Case Manager provides a status report to the OHS Committee on a quarterly basis, or more often should there be a particular area of concern.

The report will include information regarding the number of each type of injury within each employing area, the number of people who have commenced and stopped rehabilitation programs during the reporting period, and will highlight any areas of concern.

The Rehabilitation Case Manager is available to discuss with the OHS Committee any aspects of these reports.

In addition, the Rehabilitation Case Manager will circulate to the OHS Committee members for their consideration drafts of any proposed changes to the rehabilitation policy (and any other aspects of the rehabilitation process as detailed in the Policy and Procedures Manual).
