Carcinogenic Substances (Scheduled)

This was formerly dealt with by the Biosafety Committee. The Terms of Reference of that Committee changed in 2004.

For work involving use of scheduled carcinogenic substances please contact the Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Unit (13703). WorkCover requires notification of work involving these substances.

Work involving the use of substances that are highly toxic, poisonous etc. (other than those listed as scheduled carcinogenic substances) must abide by the requirements of the Hazardous Substances Policy.
