The majority of people have the mistaken belief that working with Visual Display Terminals for long periods of time will in some way permanently affect their eyesight. This belief is not true, and whilst it is not possible to permanently affect the eyes many people experience some form of visual discomfort when working with Visual Display Terminals.

This session will give staff an understanding of how their eyes function and the associated visual problems that occur with Visual Display Terminals.
