Ergonomics/Posture: Demonstration/Assessment

Objectives: To provide staff with information and advice about correct posture and ergonomics.

Training Method 1:

All new staff attend an OHS orientation session via the Staff Development and Training Unit. A demonstration of how to set up your workstation is included.

Length: 5 minutes (embedded in a longer presentation).

 

Training Method 2: Self Assessment using workstation checklist.
Length: 10 to 20 minutes.

 

Training Method 3: Individual assessment of workstation and posture by OHS Unit staff.
Length: 10 to 20 minutes
